An 18-year-old Eagle Mountain man was flown to a hospital with multiple stab wounds Tuesday afternoon, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office reported.
One person was detained, and there was no danger to the public, Sgt. Spencer Cannon said Tuesday evening. The stabbing, reported about 3:20 p.m., occurred in a home near the intersection of Parker’s Place and Cattle Drive in Eagle Mountain, he said.
Cannon said family members of the man were involved in the confrontation, though he declined to release additional details, citing the active investigation. The detained person was being interviewed by detectives Tuesday evening.
Police were not looking for other people, Cannon said.
