A Friday morning two-vehicle crash in North Salt Lake caused the death of one woman and seriously injured another.
Killed was 69-year-old Veatoki Tenifa, a Salt Lake area resident, said North Salt Lake police Sgt. Mitch Gwilliam.
Tenifa was a passenger in a mini-van driven by another woman, who was treated at a hospital and released.
Public safety dispatchers said there was a collision between the mini-van and a flat bed truck at about 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of 2600 South and Wildcat Way.
The driver of the truck was not reported injured, police said.
Gwilliam said the cause of the accident was being investigated.
