The driver of a semi-truck hauling milk was killed when the rig overturned in Logan Canyon on Wednesday afternoon.
Bruce R. Giddings, 60, of Logan, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred just before 1:20 p.m. at mile marker 478, near the Tony Grove turn-off, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce.
The northbound truck went off the road to the left as it rounded a curve too quickly and rolled off the shoulder of the highway, according to a UHP news release.
Giddings, who was wearing a seat belt, was pinned inside the cab, which was crushed, the UHP said.
